Camouflaging Hands on Activity

After giving out my presentation, students will be led to the nature trail to start their hands on activity. The hands on activity consists of building specific habitats for 1 out of 5 dinosaurs I will bring to school. Students will be instructed on what kind of habitat each dinosaur belongs to so they can design their own and unique habitat!

Materials and instructions will be given out to each group of students. Students will be allowed to walk around the natural trail in search for materials for their habitats under the supervision of their teacher or me. After 10-15 minutes, students will engage in a fun treasure hunt in search for green clips. The concept behind using green clips is the fact that green objects are harder to find on a forest/natural environment such as the nature trail. Prizes will be given out to whoever has more clips!
